Lemzi: Visionary, music artist, entrepreneur, podcast host, event organiser, taste-maker, youth mentor, consultant and so much more. Born and raised in Leytonstone, east London, Lemzi accentuates the diversity within his personal life and external environment to provide his particular brand of authentic and uplifting music. After graduating from The University of Manchester with a 2:1 in LLB Law with Criminology and working at subsequent roles across London, he was made redundant in 2016 and left with a significant decision; whether he would continue on this particular route or follow his passion and change that into a career…He chose wisely.

Since this point, Lemzi has released solo EPs, joint EPs, singles, music videos, his debut album, toured the UK, performed across different continents, sold out shows, curated his own events, and established a mentoring/workshop brand. He has featured on Sky News & London Live, was voted MSG London artist of the month (Jan 2019), was a finalist in both Coffee Music Project London and Afropunk 2019 and been on BBC One & BBC Radio London.

His music has featured on BBC 1Xtra, Reprezent Radio, Pulse 88 and many more of London's biggest urban radio stations, but most importantly, he has brought many different demographics and audiences together. His growth has been extraordinary and continues to accentuate the nature of an artist creating a legacy.

More Than Music…

As we enter a generation of UK based artists that demonstrate the capacity for "super stardom", Lemzi has managed to separate himself amongst the myriad of artists and creatives as a prime candidate for such a feat with this innovation. Aside from his personal musical endeavours, Lemzi continues to work fervently on SPOKE, the innovative app combining music with scientifically proven mindfulness techniques. Since September 2017, Lemzi has produced and curated Hidden Gems LIVE (HGL). HGL has become a staple event for emerging artists, originally facilitated in Red Lion Ballroom, Leytonstone before progressing to Rich Mix London for greater space, sound and technological advancements.

IN-FACTS is co-produced by Lemzi and Amelia Poamz. A monthly intimate night that assimilates different creative expressions such as short films, spoken word and acoustic music, now also developed into one of the most exciting podcasts around. IN-FACTS began in February 2019 and has seen talent from across London throughout. IN-FACTS also works collaboratively with local businesses wherever the event pops up, stay alert!

#Lexercise is Lemzi’s own brand of exercising. A mix of cardio, HIIT and anaerobic exercises, all centred around sustainability and good health. You may see him running round a park if you’re early enough!

As a brand, Lemzi personifies effort & integrity. As an artist that pioneers many steps or is simply willing to navigate his own journey, it has led to many prodigious results:

To date, Lemzi has released music across various platforms including Spotify, Soundcloud, Tidal, Itunes, Amazon Music and a myriad of other sites. Having music played on radio stations across the world including HB Radio Las Vegas, WFUV New York and many more as well as breaking into the UK Urban Club Charts 2020 as the only independent artist. Working with a plethora of artists, Lemzi has also demonstrated great proficiency for collaborations with 100+ to date with vocalists, session musicians, producers and other artists.

Performing domestically and internationally, alongside globally acclaimed artists, as well as headlining many of his own events, Lemzi is tipped as one of the most exciting live performers. He has previously done;

• A 2-stop tour between Amsterdam and London,

• A tour of New York

• A UK tour

• Performed at Outlook festival

• Chingfest festival

• Barbican’s Walthamstow Garden Party festival and much more.

His music and energy on stage always leads to the same results; exhilaration and captivating audiences. Aside from performing, he has also produced and curated opportunities for himself and many other artists.
